Try try again

This is a new experience for me and I have already screwed it up twice.  So much for an agile mind.  Not much going on.  Ruby is napping and I am playing on the computer trying out this new blogging experience and checking out the auction sites.  Have to be careful or I'll spend too much as I visit and use several penny auction sites.  One of my very favorites (and the one least likely to send me to the poorhouse) is DealFun www.dealfun.com.  I actually won an Amazon Kindle for only $4.64 and less than 10 bids, the stars must have been aligned.  Actually you need to study each site, try to see which times and days attract the most bidders (competitors) and the time your bids accordingly.  But I still lose  a lot as I am still learning but have also won many smaller items on DealFun so I am doing my Christmas shopping earlier than usual and having fun.  I better keep this short for now until I get the hang of it.  Keep reading and see if I get better!

    Penny auctions are now also available online. A number of good sites have appeared in the recent years offering such type of auctions. The items kept for auction are mostly consumer electronics like cameras, mp3 players, laptops etc.

      I won 2 items before Christmas, a train set for my grand kids -Toy Story for.55! A helicopter for the boys for a couple of dollars! Wow was I thrilled and had to keep reminding myself that I spent well over 150.00. I never received the items and although the site indicated they were shipped, I could not track anything and customer service told me to wait 5 weeks! I got frustrated and checked again and found they cancelled both items after I eventually spent 300.00 on that crazy site. I am reporting them to the BBB and posting beware comments everywhere I can.
